You shoot a **** grizzly bear in the neck 5 times it will go the **** away.

I heard a story long ago about a guy that had a bear bust into his cabin while he and his buddy slept.
My friend claims this isn't ****.

The guy wakes up to the smashing in and grabs his .357 and empties six into the bear's chest.
What finally stopped it was by then the buddy had gotten his rifle and stopped the bear for good.
The claim was that they peeled the six revolver bullets out of the chest.
Hadn't penetrated past the bone into the organs. That only slowed the charge a little.

The rifle, I think was a 30.06, did the job though. Shot placement is less critical if you use a cannon.
